Susan Dixon named Katy Area EDC Membership Development Coordinator

The Katy Area Economic Development Council proudly announces the hiring of Susan Dixon as Membership Development Coordinator. Dixon began her role on Monday, November 20.

The newly created role will see Dixon handling a variety of key functions including membership recruitment and retention. She will also manage administrative duties for the organization.

With over 20 years of experience in workforce development in the region, Dixon brings a wealth of knowledge to Katy Area EDC. She holds Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation and recently completed the Leadership North Houston program.

“We are thrilled to welcome Susan to our organization,” said Katy Area EDC President/CEO Angie Thomason. “Susan has longstanding relationships in the Katy area and will use this to grow relationships within the business landscape across our region.”
