Katy Responds focuses on disaster relief, rebuilding, and restoration efforts for families affected by natural disasters in the Katy area. Their mission is to rebuild homes and restore hope, ensuring families can return to safe and secure living environments. In 2023, Katy Responds invested substantial funds into the community, restoring homes for over 180 families and logging nearly 8,000 volunteer hours​.

The Ballard House: A Home Away from Home

The Ballard House, a Katy Area Economic Development Council member, provides a compassionate, no-cost temporary home for individuals and their caregivers traveling to Houston for medical treatment.
