Katy Taste Fest returns to Texas Typhoon on March 2nd

Katy Taste Fest, a culinary journey, will be celebrating six years of delighting taste buds and supporting local nonprofits. This family-friendly event will feature a diverse array of delectable tastes from over 30 restaurants from the greater Katy area. Attendees can taste all that Katy has to offer, from savory delights to sweet treats!

The event is March 2 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., with VIP access beginning at 11:30AM. at Typhoon Texas, 555 Katy Fort Bend Road in Katy.

“What makes Katy Taste Fest truly special is its commitment to community philanthropy,” said Cyril Thomas, the festival organizer, in a January press release. “The festival’s primary mission is to increase awareness of the needs in the community and showcase local non-profits that help fill those needs. Being entirely volunteer operated, our event is dedicated towards supporting local and international non-profits. Join us for a fulfilling experience where you can contribute to a meaningful cause.” Katy Taste Fest supports several local charities that focus on vulnerable children and zero waste, he said.

In addition to the incredible food offerings, Katy Taste Fest provides a memorable experience for the entire family. From the Kids’ Zone with interactive games, to live entertainment for adults, as well as a silent auction - there’s fun to be had by the whole family. “Katy Taste Fest is not only a celebration of the culinary arts but also a platform to support our local community,” said Thomas. “By bringing together food enthusiasts, amazing restaurants, and non-profit organizations, we aim to create a truly memorable event that leaves a lasting positive impact.”
