New Parking Garage Opens Hundreds of Free Parking at Memorial Hermann Katy

It is now easier to find a parking spot at the growing Memorial Hermann Hospital Katy campus (23900 Katy Freeway.) Starting this week patients and visitors have access to their new parking garage of 700 spots.    

“We want to thank the community for their patience during construction of the garage and hope they are as thrilled as we are that it is now open,” says Vivien Bond, Chief Operating Officer, Memorial Hermann Katy. “While it seems minor, we hope the simple act of quickly finding a free parking space will alleviate some of the stress they may feel when visiting the hospital or a doctor’s office.”

The new three-story garage, which can be expanded if needed, is located behind Medical Plaza 2.  Visitor parking is located on the first two floors with the third floor reserved for employees and physicians.  

Katy continues to grow and Memorial Hermann, like so many businesses, is growing to match the need. This now parking garage is part of the $167 million expansion. The project has added 115,000-square-feet of new and renovated service areas, nearly 100 beds. A third professional office building is also planned.

Memorial Hermann has served Katy for 40 years and offers 38 specialties and a 24/7 emergency room all at their Katy campus. Now parking will be easier.
