27 May 2021
Release provided by LaCenterra
Despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch has remained a staple of family friendly activity in the Katy community and surrounding areas. Through obtainment of the Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ accreditation, the gold standard for prepared facilities, LaCenterra aims to deliver a fun and safe experience to its visitors through engaging events and customer-centric establishments.
Many LaCenterra stores have seen a significant spike in sales and foot traffic in the early months of 2021, with multiple establishments reporting record numbers exceeding those of 2019 and previous years. Off the heels of the economic impact of COVID-19, these metrics serve as a positive year-end outlook for LaCenterra and its businesses.
What’s New at LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch?
Perhaps one of the most anticipated additions to LaCenterra is Ambriza Social Mexican Kitchen, opening in late May. Specializing in authentic Mexican cuisine, Ambriza delivers a flair of elegance, illustration, and culture in their award-winning dining experience. As a new cornerstone to the LaCenterra property, Ambriza Social Mexican Kitchen will be located in the clock tower building directly in front of Heritage Square.
“We are excited to welcome Ambriza Social Mexican Kitchen to our thriving shopping center. Their premier location along Heritage Square combined with their commitment to service and culinary authenticity will help create an exceptional experience for guests looking for fresh Mexican fare in a beautiful setting.” -Zach Reynolds, LaCenterra Marketing Director
In addition to Ambriza, LaCenterra has recently introduced a one-of-a-kind desert establishment on property that’s suitable to adults and children alike – Sweet & Boozy! Going beyond the call of traditional ice cream and soft serve beverages, Sweet & Boozy specializes in alcohol -infused concoctions for adults, as well as a variety of treats for all ages and preferences.
From milkshakes to stuffed waffles, Sweet & Boozy has found the permanent cure for sweet tooth, doing so in a fun, modernistic and customer-engaging fashion. Sweet & Boozy is located across the street from Springfree, between Zoes Kitchen and Grimaldi’s Pizzeria.
Events on the Horizon
Community events have always been a popular mainstay at LaCenterra, serving as a pinnacle of anticipation in the summer months and during the holiday season. After taking a back seat in 2020, property events have slowly scaled to a safe normalcy, and are now in full operational swing.
From outdoor fitness classes to monthly Farmers Markets, property visitors can expect events to be held at full capacity, with full assurance of proper sanitary measures and safety precautions. In addition to the monthly happenings at LaCenterra, several larger events have been added to our calendar including:
- Walk to End Alzheimer’s 5k (Saturday, September 25th)
- Paws Fest 2021 (Saturday, October 2nd)
- Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony (Saturday, November 20th)
