The inaugural Katy Area Golf Tournament is teed up to bring the Katy community together for a day of friendly competition, networking, and community building. Organized by the Katy Area Chamber and the Katy Area EDC, the event will take place on March 18, 2024 at the prestigious Club at Falcon Point.
Community members, business leaders, and golf enthusiasts alike are all invited to partake in this exciting day of friendly competition. Registration kicks off at 11:00 AM, with players hitting the greens for a shotgun start at 1:00 PM. Participants can register as individuals or teams and fees include not just access to the tournament, but carts, lunch, dinner, and some fantastic giveaways courtesy of event sponsors.
More important than the game itself, the key mission of this event is to foster community engagement and business networking. The Katy Area Chamber and Katy Area EDC have long been cornerstones of the community, championing local businesses and driving growth in the area. Proceeds from the tournament will fund their continued efforts to provide opportunities and raise awareness in the community.
"This event is more than just a golf tournament. It's an opportunity for us to come together, enjoy a day on the greens, and make a positive impact in our community," says Matthew Ferraro, President/CEO of the Katy Area Chamber. Angie Thomason, President/CEO of Katy Area EDC, concurs, "We look forward to bringing our community together for the betterment of our business resources".
Sponsorship opportunities, a powerful way for local businesses to gain visibility and demonstrate their commitment to the Katy community, are available at various levels. Proud sponsors include Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital, Lifetime of Clicks Photography, The Navicon Group, Caldwell Companies, and Rapp & Krock, PC.
The organizers encourage people of all skill levels to join in on the day of fun and partnership. For more information and to register, please visit here or contact either Ashley DeWispelaere or Susan Dixon.
