A new JLB Eatery is expected to open this month in Katy. The new location will be at 5815 Franz Road, Katy, and is replacing the old Church's Chicken. JLB Eatery also has locations in Tomball, Houston and Cypress. The restaurant sells a variety of burgers as well as sides of french fries, onion rings, tater tots and sweet potato fries. Clean Juice Morton Ranch is expected to have its grand opening in early December. Located at 2811 W. Grand Parkway N., Katy, and owned by Melissa Bonesteel, the franchise sells sandwiches, wraps, acai bowls, toast and smoothies along with cold-pressed juices and shots. Dutch Bros Coffee, an Oregon-based coffee chain founded in 1992, aims to open its first Katy-area location at 22719 Morton Ranch Road, Katy, before 2022, according to a statement from the company. The drive-thru coffee chain serves 11 states. According to its website, the specialty beverage chain prides itself on its speed, quality and service.
