University of Houston - Katy
The University of Houston (UH) recently completed the first phase of its new campus with construction of an 80,000 sq. ft. building at TX 99 and I-10. UH shares the building with The University of Houston Victoria and over 2,000 students are enrolled in both colleges. At the Katy campus, the focus is on engineering and nursing with three undergraduate tracks and five master's level tracks including a subsea engineering program which is unique to the energy sector. Additionally, in nursing UH offers a BSN degree.
The University of Houston Victoria (UHV) offers 70 bachelor's and master's degrees and concentrations in the fields of arts and sciences; business administration; and education, health professions and human development. UHV provides accredited face-to-face and online programs to students in the Gulf Coast region and beyond. Since its founding in 1973, UHV has provided students with a quality higher education taught by talented faculty at a great value.

Accredited by AACSB International, the School of Business Administration offers business degrees for the leaders of today and tomorrow. Our programs and concentrations are relevant in the dynamic business environment and equip students with the analytical and reasoning skills needed to succeed in diverse economies and cultures.

School of Arts & Sciences
The School of Arts & Sciences is central to the teaching, research and service interests of UHV. We prepare students to have the skills and intellectual leadership needed in the public and private sectors. Special emphasis is placed on providing students with the critical thinking and technological skills necessary for lifelong success, active citizenship and global awareness.
Houston Community College
The Houston Community College (HCC) Katy Campus offers a variety of certificates and programs from Business and Information Technology to Agri-Science, with a student population exceeding 4,500. HCC has purchased 24 acres of land to construct a new campus in Katy. The first phase of the campus will include a new 150,000 sq.ft. building and will be located in close proximity to the new University of Houston campus. HCC has entered into a new partnership with the University of Houston at Katy and is offering an Engineering Academy and a Nursing Program with an RN to LVN to BSN at UH at Katy. New programming at the Katy location will also include advanced manufacturing and computer science and information systems.
HCC’s Corporate Training College offers customized training at reduced cost for companies located in the HCC service area. Specific programs include: Management & Leadership, Manufacturing Engineering and Workforce Development.
Lone Star College is located close to Katy and offers numerous academic and workforce programs. The campus features numerous computers labs, a biology lab and a workforce center.
The National Association of Corrosion Engineers headquarters is located in the Katy area and is known as NACE. NACE is working with UH to develop a program and corrosion engineering. Petroskills are located in the Katy area and offer outstanding training and educational opportunities for various employment areas within the energy industry and beyond.
