Existing Business Services
Existing businesses create the most new jobs in communities. The Katy area recognizes the impact and importance of existing businesses and their impact on the area and directs a business retention and expansion program that has been in place for over 10 years. The program analyzes the local business climate and helps Katy Area EDC staff address specific company retention and expansion projects. Katy area EDC has an Business Retention and Expansion Committee that is comprised of EDC member businesses and allies and is currently in the process of conducting surveys/interviews of Katy area businesses. Over the years, local companies and corporations have rated the business climate in the Katy area as highly favorable and conducive to growth. EDC staff conducted 20 in person interviews in 2018.
If your organization would like to take part in the survey/interview, contact Angie Thomason at email@example.com. You can also view the survey here and complete it at your convenience. Completed surveys can be emailed to Anigie Thomason, firstname.lastname@example.org.
