AP Top Ten Poll: Katy Remains At #2, Cinco Ranch Stays #6

Both Katy and Cinco Ranch held on to their spots in the latest AP High School Top 10 rankings.
 FOOTBALL RANKINGS – Katy remained at #2 and Cinco Ranch stayed at #6 in the latest AP Top Ten 5A High School Football rankings.
The Tigers remained ranked as #2 in the state after dominating district rival Mayde Creek 61-10 at Rhodes Stadium last Thursday.
Cinco Ranch held on to the #6 spot with its 41-22 win over Strake Jesuit last Friday. The week before, the Cougars dropped one spot after edging out Memorial 35-28.
Both teams are undefeated on the season. They are scheduled to meet in the last game of the regular season Nov. 6.
The latest 5A top ten rankings are as follows:
1. Euless Trinity (8-0)
2. Katy (7-0)
3. Round Rock Stony Point (8-0)
4. Allen (7-0)
5. The Woodlands (7-0)
6. Katy Cinco Ranch (7-0)
7. Coppell (7-0)
8. Copperas Cove (7-0)
9. DeSoto (6-1)
10. Abilene (5-2)
The Tigers are next in action this Saturday when they take on Spring Branch Memorial.
The Cougars are up against Taylor this Friday.
