As you visit this site you will find pieces of information that you may want to add to a Custom Profile. To do that simply click the "add" link that is associated with that information. Once you are finished gathering data simply click "View Custom Report" and that will take you directly to your report. From there you can email, print or create a PDF of that report.
Emerging Technology Fund (ETF) Announcement

Governor Rick Perry and the Gulf Coast RCIC will be announcing new Emerging Technology Fund (ETF) awards to area companies during Texas Technology Leadership Day on Friday, June 5, from 11AM to 1PM. For more information, visit HTC’s website – www.houstontech.org.
Pending final approval, the ETF program should be extended for an additional two years through August 2011.
The Gulf Coast RCIC has established the schedule for the next funding round – Round 17 (the 17th round of funding since the ETF program was launched in 2005).
The schedule for this round will be:
• Wednesday, July 8, 2-4PM, at the HTC – Applicant Workshop
• Monday to Wednesday, July 27-29, at the HTC – one hour Application Planning Meetings with each registered Round 17 applicant, either in person at the HTC or via phone
• Tuesday, August 4, 10AM – Gulf Coast RCIC Application Deadline
• Wednesday, August 12 – RCIC Review Committee Semifinalist Selection Meeting
• Tuesday, August 18 – RCIC Review Committee Finalist Selection Meeting – applicant presentations at the HTC
• Tuesday, August 25 – TLSC Application Deadline (RCIC will submit Life Science Finalist applications to the TLSC for parallel review)
• Tuesday, September 1 – possible 2nd RCIC Review Committee Finalist Selection Meeting – if there are more semifinalists selected than can present in a single day on August 18, non-life science semifinalists will be invited to present on September 1 INSTEAD OF August 18
• Wednesday, September 23 – RCIC Board Meeting – applicant presentations at the HTC
• TBD – TLSC Board Meeting – for invited life science applicants, presentations in Austin
• Thursday, October 8 – State Application Deadline (RCIC will select selected applications to the State for review)
• Thursday, October 15 – State ETF Presentations in Austin
Companies interested in applying should submit an applicant registration through the Gulf Coast RCIC website (www.gulfcoastrcic.org), and consider attending the Applicant Workshop on July 8. The website currently has the Round 16 materials. The Application Workshop slides will be updated after the Applicant Workshop.
NOTE on the Application Form – the ETF program may have a new Application Form for Round 17. Applicants for Round 17 can use the Round 16 form as a starting point to prepare for their application submission on August 4. The new Application Form will be posted on the RCIC website as soon as it is available.
