Lacenterra at Cinco Ranch announces new office leases
25,000 square feet of additional Class “A” office space leased
Katy, Texas (July 24, 2008) – Business growth in the greater Katy area has continued unabated via new start-ups, expansions and relocations. LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch has seen the addition of nine new office tenants during the first half of 2008. Center management reports approximately 25,000 square feet of class “A” office space was leased between January 1 and June 30. Of the center’s 90,000 square feet of available space, over 51% has been leased and more than 23,500 square feet is under negotiation.
Companies leasing LaCenterra office space include: Veras Financial Services, Inc./Allstate, Frontier Title Company, Global Energy Development, Dr. Bradley J. Barker, D.D.S., Project Cost Resources, Inc., HKN, Inc., Transportation Equipment, Inc., Physicians Hair Restoration Center and ZEEP (Zero Emissions Energy Plants, Inc.).
Over 8,200 square feet of class “A” office space was leased during the first quarter of 2008. Veras Financial Services, Inc. secured 916 square feet in January for a new Allstate Insurance Company location. Frontier Title Company relocated from Park Ten leasing 2,925 square feet in March. Global Energy Development followed, leasing 1,522 square feet of space for the relocation of its Westchase office. Completing first-quarter transactions, Dr. Bradley J. Barker, D.D.S. selected LaCenterra as the site for his Katy practice leasing 2,783 square feet of center space.
The second quarter proved equally active bringing five new businesses and more than 14,100 square feet of additional leased office space to the center. Project Cost Resources, Inc. relocated from west Houston to LaCenterra in April, securing 1,120 square feet. Southlake-based independent energy company, HKN, Inc., selected LaCenterra for a new Katy location, leasing 1,866 square feet in May. Transportation Equipment, Inc. made a May decision as well to relocate its Park Ten office, leasing 2,716 square feet of center space. Physicians Hair Restoration Center followed with 3,234 square feet lease for the relocation of its Sugarland office. International gasification technology company, ZEEP (Zero Emissions Energy Plants, Inc.), relocated its Katy office, securing 5,200 square feet for its global headquarters.
