    Seeking Volunteers in Katy for Interviews

    The University of Texas at Austin is conducting interviews to understand real people’s calls for help posted on social media during Hurricane Harvey.  This study is funded by the National Science Foundation and interviews will be done in person in and around the Katy Area during the Thanksgiving and Mid-December university breaks.

    Hurts Donuts opening first Houston-area location in Katy in December

    Hurts Donuts, a specialty doughnut chain from Springfield, Missouri, is expected to open its first Houston-area shop in Katy in December. The store will open at The Shoppes at Cinco Ranch, 9555 Spring Green Blvd., Katy, which is owned by Thor Equities.
