    Katy Village LP buys 84-acre parcel for Katy development

    Katy Village LP, a partnership led by Vincent Giammalva of Giammalva Properties, has acquired an 84-acre tract at Interstate 10 and Pin Oak Road in Katy for a development that could bring restaurants, retailers, a hotel and offices to a growing corner of Katy.

    April 2018: See the latest news on Katy area transportation projects

    A. The Westpark Tollway extension is still under construction, with separate plans calling to expand the FM 1093 frontage roads west of Cross Creek Ranch Boulevard and expand FM 1093 to James Lane in Fulshear. The toll lane extension west of Cross Creek Ranch Boulevard is a future project. A construction schedule will not be established until a toll and revenue study is conducted, according to Fort Bend County Engineer Richard Stolleis. The timing for the study has not been determined yet.
