CHRISTUS St. Catherine is a 102 bed full service acute care hospital serving Katy and surrounding communities with the latest technology in medical care. Christus provides a broad spectrum of adult, pediatric, medical, surgical and obstetrical care, as well as numerous ambulatory services. Christus offers compassionate health care in a caring environment and offers cardiac catheterization lab and open heart surgery, 24 hour emergency services, home care, and outpatient services which include an imaging center, lab and sports medicine. Christus also offers a sleep clinic, day surgery and women’s services. The University Of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center operates a free-standing radiation treatment center on the Christus St. Catherine Katy campus. The new facility is led by M.D. Anderson trained and employed radiation oncologists and provides convenient access to the same services and technology available at the main campus of the Texas Medical Center.

MHH Katy uses the latest advanced technology and evidenced based medicine to improve clinical outcomes. The latest advanced information and wireless technology systems are used to collect, store, and communicate vital patient information. MHH Katy’s Emergency center offers services 24/7 and its Chest Pain Center is fully accredited to provide effective treatment for heart attack patients. MHH Katy is the only Level IV trauma center in Katy and is equipped to stabilize patients for transfer using Life Flight helicopters when higher level care is required. Specialty services include women's and children’s services, heart and vascular services, sports medicine and rehabilitation, diabetes self management, cancer services and advanced diagnostic imaging. Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza includes physicians offices, as well as a Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center, Outpatient Imaging Center, Continence Center and Laboratory Services.
West Houston Texas Children’s Hospital was opened on a new $220 million Houston West campus that is located in Katy ISD. The hospital will be licensed for 96 intermediate and acute beds, an emergency center, inpatient and outpatient operating floors, ambulatory care facility, diagnostic imaging, physical medicine and rehab services, subspecialty care, and physician office space. The first phase of the campus is projected to be completed by 2010.
Methodist Hospital recently opened on a 192 bed acute care hospital adjacent to Texas Children’s Hospital. At the 55 acre site, Methodist offers services to the Katy area which include catheterization lab operations, radiation therapy, and imaging. A medical office building is located on the site as well. Methodist also plans to integrate selected training services for medical residents and research fellows into a community hospital setting.
St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System also has announced a state of the art facility to be located at The Reserve at The Grand Parkway. St. Luke’s intends to build an 88 bed facility on 20 acres as a full-service community Hospital. St. Luke’s plans to offer general surgery, obstetrics, internal medicine and a 150,000 sq.ft. medical office building.
